Ed McMahon died today too?

Chip Coffey just said that Ed McMahon died today too, and that celebrity deaths usually come in 3's.
[NOTE: I meant Chip said it today - not that Ed died today]
Losing Ed & Farrah is bad enough - I hope not another one, but if anybody knows it would be Chip. :)
I will always hear Ed's laughter as Johnny Carson's sidekick. Ed, you made so many people smile - Thanks for all of the memories!
