Plans for US Troop Withdrawal Announced

Some Good News and Bad News Today:
The Good News is that the US is pulling troops and equipment from Iraq.
The Bad News is that all of it is going to the war in Afghanistan.
General Ray Odierno says that 4,000 US troops will leave Iraq by then end of this month, which leaves 120,000. 70,000 should pull out by next August with 50,000 remaining until the end of 2011.
General Stanley McChrystal warned that the war in Afghanistan will be lost without lots more troops and equipment.
We must never forget our brave soldiers and sailors who were sent on an impossible mission in the middle of a game they can not win. Let's make sure they all get taken good care of when they finally come back home.
