Is Osama Bin Laden dead or alive?

Saturday, January 9th, 2010

UPDATE 5/5/2011 - On Sunday, May 1st, 2011 President Barack Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed by US Special Forces at a compound in Pakistan. From several reliable sources I had heard that Bin Laden had been dead for many years. If what the White House says is true - we were wrong. I apologize for the error.

The BBC just published a story on the conspiracy surrounding the fate of Osama Bin Laden:
BBC News Article

In the interview, former CIA agent Art Keller says, "I think those conspiracy theories that he is dead are pretty much laughable."

This is what I have heard from several reliable sources: Bin Laden died several years ago from natural causes and he was buried in a cave in the mountains. This version of the story was quietly reported by Fox News, but there is a more reliable source than Fox: Bhutto.

In a TV interview just prior to her assassination, Prime Minister Bhutto let the news of Bin Laden's death slip out inadvertently. Despite numerous threats to her life, she was not provided enough protection and was killed upon her return to Pakistan.

Since his reported death, there has been no new audio or video tapes released that have been verified to be Osama. The voice prints and appearances just don't match up! Some of the fake recordings are so bad that it doesn't take a forensics expert to identify them as fakes.

Our country has enough problems without sending our troops to chase after ghosts. President Obama - quit dicking with our military and be honest with them about their mission!

The BBC conspiracy special airs tomorrow (Sunday, January 10th, 2010) at 2130 GMT on BBC Two.
