World Feeling Sad on Xmas with the loss of James Brown at age 73
Monday, December 25, 2006
The world is saddened by the death of James Brown at an Atlanta hospital on Christmas.
The Godfather of Soul, was also known as the hardest working man in show business.
James Brown was an inspiration to several generations of musicians, including myself. He was always real. He was original.
He was last seen the day before his death giving out Christmas presents in an annual event he sponsored.
He worked hard for all of his 73 years, until the day he was lost due to pnuemonia.
Even at age 73, James Brown performed over a hundred shows per year. He had January dates booked in Canada, and a World Tour scheduled for Paris, among other places.
He was "Born in 'Carolina - Raised in Georgia" and he will be missed around the world.
James Brown will never be forgotten.
