Native American Crafts / Crafters WANTED for TV!
Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009
I am searching for Native American crafters to display their craft skills on a one hour national TV show.
I'm looking for pottery, thread spinning, loom weaving, basket weaving, etc.
Prerequisites:
1. Must be a member of a state or federal recognized Native American tribe.
2. Must be comfortable appearing on a live national television show.
3. Must be able to demonstrate the process of your craft.
4. Must be willing to travel to studios in New York (if necessary).
We may send a small film crew to a tribe or reservation, or we may do everything live in New York. We are still working out the logistics for the show which is still a few months away.
If you (or someone you know) might be interested in participating, please send me your contact info along with a short description of your craft. Photos would also be helpful.
Thanks!
